Investigating the Effects of Technology Integration on Teaching and Learning in Secondary Education
Abstract
This paper explores the impact of technology integration on teaching and learning
within secondary education. As digital tools become increasingly prevalent in
classrooms, educators are shifting from traditional teaching methods to more interactive,
student-centered approaches. The study examines how technology enhances
instructional strategies, supports personalized learning, increases student engagement,
and improves academic performance. It also addresses challenges such as the digital
divide, lack of teacher training, and potential distractions from screen use. The findings
highlight that while technology can significantly enrich the educational experience, its
effectiveness largely depends on thoughtful implementation, equitable access, and
sustained professional development for educators.
