Nutrition plays a significant role in maintaining physical and mental well-being, particularly among women and children in rural areas. Lack of awareness regarding balanced diet, healthy eating habits, and nutritional requirements often leads to malnutrition and health-related complications. In this context, a Community Outreach Programme was organised by the Women Empowerment Cell and NSS Units of Hassan Khoyihami Memorial Degree College under the aegis of Poshan Abhiyan at the adopted village Laharwalpora. The programme aimed to spread awareness about healthy diet and nutrition among the rural population. The initiative included seminars, awareness rallies, interaction with Anganwadi workers, pregnant women, and lactating mothers. The programme highlighted the importance of consuming nutritious food, avoiding junk food, and adopting healthy lifestyle practices. The present paper discusses the objectives, activities, outcomes, and significance of the programme in promoting nutrition awareness at the community level.
